Qatargas – North Field Production Sustainability

Project Summary

The North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) Project is a major QatarEnergy LNG initiative developed in parallel with the North Field Expansion (NFE) program. Its primary purpose is to maintain reservoir pressure and sustain long-term gas production from the world’s largest non-associated natural gas field.

The project scope includes the installation of offshore compression complexes, new pipelines, and wellhead platforms, with major EPC contracts awarded to leading firms such as Saipem and McDermott

Our team contributed to the development of technical solutions, working closely with multiple EPCs and cross-functional organizations. This collaboration ensured alignment across interfaces and supported the successful project award phase, despite the scale and complexity of the undertaking.

Hightlights of Project

Developed solutions for offshore compression and pipeline systems.
Coordinated across multiple EPCs and organizational functions.
Supported the project award amid significant technical and commercial challenges.
Contributed to one of QatarEnergy’s largest LNG sustainability initiatives.

Outcome

The NFPS project strengthens Qatar’s position as a global LNG leader by ensuring sustained production capacity and long-term energy security.
